Sometimes, even if you can afford a full life insurance, maybe you cannot obtain one because of prior or current medical issues. But be aware that accident insurance does not cover death by natural causes such as disease and suicide. Many policies also exclude accidents or death during action sports or military duty.

Many life insurance companies offer accident insurance as an add-on, but you can also buy the product separately from general insurance companies as a personal cover or for the entire family.
